Strategies
As our clan grows in number, we will need to strategize the way we work. if you have battle strategies including flanking, etc. feel free to reply to this message. i feel this will be a great way to boost our clan and furthermore dominate the battle field
Snipers are one of the most useful weapons on the modern battlefield. The is just a smiple list of some of the basics that you should try to do as much as possible.
1) Provide Intel.
Get into a good position where you can clearly see most if not all of the target location that your squad is attacking. Let your squad know how many people you see and their location and as well as what weapon/ class they appear to be.
2) Don't Be Seen!
The biggest mistake I see snipers and infantry men alike make is laying prone in a "good" spot on top of a hill or sticking their gun out of a window. This is a BIG NO NO! Only under extreme cases should you allow yourself to snipe from a position like that. The ideal position should have all the following:
Outdoor;
a. You should find a spot that has cover; something like a group of bushes or tall grass.
b. Avoid hilltops and roofs as much as possible; despite how well of a spot if it you are a sitting duck for enemy snipers. because you are at the top of the match there is nothing above you. which means they are looking up at a small area and can clearly see your body against the sky.
Indoor;
a. Never stick your gun out of a window! If an enemy sees your gun sticking out he cuold easily sneak up behind you or simply toss a grenade into the room your in and then its game over for you. The best place to be is about 2m+ from the edge of the window or door that your shooting out of.
Both;
a. One of the top mistakes snipers make is they do not have an exit strategy. Know your location well. If your outdoor make sure you can crawl behind a tree, rock, or concrete divider. If your in indoors make sure you can simply drop to prone if fireing out of a window or if your already prone and are getting fire make sure there is a wall or something in the room to hide behind yourself.
b. Make sure you have the means to heal yourself. Weither it be a medic or first aid kit.
With that Information I have already made you 100% better at the art of sniping. Dont be seen, provide intel and make sure you can get the hell out of dodge if you need to.
